Essentially, you can't install the game on more than two PCs at the same time. The game requires online activation for the first ever install only, then afterwards it doesn't. This is just like Half Life 2 3 years ago. The difference is that HL2 didn't mention that you needed internet to play it, so it upset a lot of people.
Bioshock, on the other hand, requires an internet connection as part of it's minimum system requirements.
In other words, the whole hulla bulla about the activation etc is UNWARRANTED and just forum crap :)
Of course, this only applies to a legit copy *wink*
