God of All Games (War)

has just finished.

Great game.

Amazing.

Stupidly addictive.

I know a lot of you have banged on about this before (Wolf, A13, Fuji) but I finally experienced it this week and finished it just now (30 minutes before starting my last night!!).

As A13 put it, it's so good raises your expectations for all games following it.

Next stop: Shadow of the Colossus, then perhaps Devil May Cry 3 or Ninja Gaiden Sigma whenever that's out.

God of War 2 needs to be done too. But I want to play a few games in between so as not to get bored with it (if that's possible).

On that note, any one seen the bonus video you unlock when finishing God of War? The one that says he had a brother that's gonna raise out of Hades and revenge? Seems like God of War 3 to me.....

Off to fight the uphill struggle that is the last night.

MWAHAHAHAHAHA!

isss gooood! damn that Kratos!
you know, after you play it thru, it gets to you to the point that crazy shit like this starts sounding ok :))

hey, found this, not very funny/good/etc, but it has the Nin. DS, and Nicole Kidman, so there's a chance you'll like it :)

beware tho: Shadow is a beautiful game with BEAUTIFUL EXCITING moments

(you are trying to kill something as huge as a 10-story building, by freaking climbing it, and poking it in the eye with a sword)

but it might b too.. calm.. :D take ur time with it, don't rush!

DMC3: wow. ooh, try to get the Special Ed., nothing much added, but you get to play as the evil brother :)

Sigma :( me want!

have fun, take care, salam to all!

That is the UK advert for the DS. Before that it was Chris Tarrant, and now it's Nicole Kidman.

Am playing Colossus with Kelly. She gets all gooey about the colossi (oh! I can't watch! poor thing etc etc). Admittedly, it does feel terrible killing these things that aren't really doing any harm to anyone.

I love the emptiness, I love the whole you+horse+colossi+weird voice theme.

Have killed first 3, the 3rd was the sleeping giant who's arm had to break before you could climb it (I thought that was very clever).

Oh, and on Friday I get The Darkness for 360 (amazing game!) and Resident Evil 4 Wii. Finished it on GCN ages ago but everyone is saying the Wii version is really good. Can't wait to replay it again.

you have TEH CORRECT regarding how sad it sometimes feel to kill these huuuuge things just cuz some voice told you so.. (who IS the bad guy in this game? :D)

i remember that one, it had some sort of armor, fought u on this huuuuge circle plateau, and u had to break it to climb it! yeah i remember that one!

the one i remember most fondly was either # 5 or 6. here's a hint bout which one it is: hold on tight, REAL tight, and take a DEEP breath!
got there yet?

no.7 really bothered me (i think you fought it in some sort of vertical shaft, inside a temple or something), and i lost possession of the game before i could beat it.. dang.i ain't buying it again! Noooo!

hmmm.. is Manhunt 2 coming out for the next gen consoles? haven't played the first, but the concept sounds VERY promising :D

take care d00d, salam to all! :D

INDIA WHERE ARE YOU?

Darkness.. hmm.. hope its good just because i'm sick of stupid comic book -> VG adaptations..

"weird voice theme" Yeahh.. what i like most about it is the "scope".. everything is SO huge! so.. unconstrained.

ahem: have you tried shooting an arrow at, erm, Arrow?
:D that's Iraqi for you :D

'13... I'M HERE... DESPAIR NOT MY BROTHER!... guess ur shout was loud enough to make me come back to this post ;)

My wireless AP admin/provider has gone on a vacation and generously decided to up my slot allocation from 128kb to 2.5MB... leaving me 4 the first time in my life, in utter digital bliss!... one problem though; only HTTP/S,ICMP, and DNS protocols run... so no P2P 4 moi :((

Thus, i'm renewing my faith in real gaming (i.e. non-NDS ;P SoB) by simply watching SHITLOADS of trailers and movies of new games...

btw... how abt a friggin post or two for the masses?!!

... and that goes for the both of u (*pulling up sleeves and crossing arms*)

NDS gaming rocks man! I am totally and stupidly addicted to Slitherlink, the most addictive puzzle the world has ever created. Plus Zelda should be coming out for it soon.

The Darkness looks AMAZING! I have a friend who's a game journalist so he gets review copies early, he says it's one of the best games he's ever played.

I got RE4: Wii edition today, it arrived early! Had a quick go at it and it was just as I remember: awkward to start off with, then becomes amazing once you're used to the controls. But, the Wii makes it awesome doing head shots!

I've got so much shit to play, it's not funny: Viva Pinata has to finish on the 360 (addicted to that too), then The Darkness, also RE4:Wii, and have only played one match on Mario Strikers Wii.
Gotta finish playing Resistance on PS3, Colossus. Oh and bloody Sonic on Wii which I've been renting for the last 3 months.

Then it's over to GOW2 and all that shit. MAN oh MAN.

A post eh? coming up

No man.. of course NDS rocks... remember? i gave in and got one in da 1st place! BUT i miss gaming on anything larger than 2.5" (considering i'm a house guest for the time being and can't get a TV). Also my most recent NDS picks ('Lost magic' & 'Deep labyrinth') sucked ass.....

... OH! much luck to u with ur gaming marathon (AKA 'Throwing ur life away' :p)..

INDY! :D missed you!
welcome back!

hmmm.. well, "... and that goes for the both of u"
hmmm.. c i really want to post, just that i really dont have anything good to write about.. i called the WAAAAmbulence to my blog a couple of times already this year, so i really need to find something worthy to write about before moaning & bitching about this or that.. sigh.

on another hand, i do seem to be catching up on a LOT of Terry Pratchett...
you know, books, if you ever, EVER have time, and you are bored of everything else, get a Pratchett.
(IF you have time, that is :D the both o' youse!)

one post coming up, but not right now..

mostly due to our-times' stinkin state educational methods, I have rarely been motivated enough to read anything voluntarily (a couple of erotic novels maybe ;)!).

SO, unless it was the finals' time and I had (___)[FILL IN THE BLANK WITH : enough summer retests, low enough grades, a near deadline, been threatened by parents to be cutoff, etc..] ...otherwise then NOOoooSaa, I ain't readin nothin on paper!

P.S. come to think of it, my "logic" tells me that I HAD to read those pr0n novels cuz I was outta any visual material at the time :|

I saw The Hogfather on Sky One last year. It was based on Hog's Watch Day from Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels. I really liked it.

I do a bit of reading now and then. Am currently reading a book called 211 Things A Bright Boy Can Do, which is really fun.

Been convinced by everyone to start reading Harry Potter, which I will one day. The last one is out next month so I might just get the book set come christmas.

I just killed both these Colossi today! Took me ages to find the eel one, but he was fucking amazing to fight! There was this awesome sense of real danger when you're hanging on to him as he dives down. Loved it!

Got to the "tail in the pail" guy you talk about, shoots an electrical mist that kills. I thought he was really bland and stupid, didn't like it. He's the 8th Colossus.

Don't know what the next one is, I'll try it later.

The Darkness is AMAZING!! Properly amazing! It is so interactive, so well detailed, so real. What game gives you the option to sit and watch a whole film with your girlfriend?! (YES! A whole film - To Kill A Mockingbird, while you're sat on the sofa with her!). And the theme is great, you're some kind of weirdo with really freakly snakes coming out of you which you can use to kill/eviscerate/eat hearts with. It really is good. Played some last night and loved it.
