Good system though, menu is very PSP like which is a bit crappy but otherwise it's very stylish. I don't like it's weight though.

haven't played God of War 2 yet myself, here they're still selling PIRATED COPIES of it for 10$ (the norm is 2$)
so i'm not buying till it gets cheaper :D

On a serious note though: I just wanna play some games as 13 says. As long as my collection has Nintendo in it, the other 2 are just bystanders :p
A friend just told me to ditch Okami cos it's a bit boring. Thoughts?
@ '13, this is just a game I and SoB ("used to") play where we ("used to") ACTUALLY despise Sony's gaming platforms.
Anyways, right now my residency application is taking a bit longer than expected. So, I hope I can afford to snatch an HDTV and a console after I get settled! maybe I'll just skip this gen :(

well, honestly depends on how you want your games:
its a beautiful, fluid game BUT with some really repetitive moments.
i kinda cooled down on it after a 10-day playing frenzy..
beautiful, but flawed.

if you must get a Clover game, try Godhand, this is like Old-School beat-em ups with a modified Resi4 engine and TONS of "incorrect" humor :)) i love it! oh and its hard as all hell, and then some.

GoW II is an absolute killer, if you want to get any PS2 thing, get that first :D
(warning: it will ruin/upgrade your standards for platform-games, you will use it later to gauge all other platformers you play, and they will come up short)

Shadow of the Colossus:
AMAZING, but EMPTY!

OR: you can wait for the second/third generation games, which will arrive on the 360/Wii/PS3 and subsequently cause the end of the world as we know it! i am serious! :))

The emptiness is to make you relate to the character. Galloping for 10-20 minutes is to create a bond. I think. I can't wait to play this game.
Also, Katamari, how could I forget that! I loved it on the PSP, one of the funkiest games ever made.

Forgot to say REZ, best SEGA game ever.
Why I sold my dreamcast I don't know. I had it there and loved it to bits. I'll get the PS2 version.
