Intel Conroe Core 2 Duo
I've just ordered an upgrade. I'm going to sell my amd fx 64 + the abit fatality mobo + 4gig ddr400 ram on ebay (they've held a good price till now and I don't really need them)
I was going to get a geforce 7950 gx2 but I thought that would be silly cos it's the last of the current generation and is NOT a directx 10 card, so what's the point... instead I opted to change back to Intel...
My new stuff should arrive early next week, and are:
Abit AB9-Pro motherboard
Intel Conroe Core 2 Duo e6700
4x1gig Corsair paired DDR2 800 (PC6400) RAM
I'll update Good Delicious when the stuff is here and when I've installed it.
SoB out
PS: I go and watch Superman Returns with Kelly in the imax tomorrow, can't wait!
PS2: I am moving jobs to Ipswich, so I'll be offline from Tuesday cos I've moved my phone line and broadband internet to there, and I'll be reconnected end of next week I hope.

Dont wanna ruin anything for u, but:
Superman Returns..
nah.. enjoy ur time, and tell us what u think afterwards!
dont worry!
We LOVED Superman Returns!
Dude the film is AWESOME :)
The only weak thing I thought was the ending which dragged on a bit, and of course the whole you-know-what.... (trying not to spoil it)
But what makes it really good is that it uses the original score, it's not fantasised (so they didn't add some moster or something, it's just him vs lex), and the graphics were awesome!
I got goose bumps Clarke first changed into superman in the film and did his first heroic deed, and that awesome music kicked in.
Oh and seeing it on the imax screen is unreal...
And thanks for explaining the SF3 business for me, I could tell by the crowd reaction that this parry that he did was awesome. I know there's loads of different types of SF3, which one do you recommend?
And yesterday me and Kelly went to The Trocadero (a big arcade) to play Virtua Tennis 3 (which kinda sucks cos it's just like Virtua Tennis 2, that was good in 2002, but not anymore), but instead we found a MarioKart Arcade racer for 2! it's developed by Namco and it's really really good.

PS: if you don't like Superman don't tell me cos I'll fly over and parry the shit out of you :p
Ditto bout the score and the no-fantasy thing:
BUT, I kinda wished lex would put on a suit of armor or some weapon and we'd have a gigantic fight like in the second movie!
tell u what: i had goosebumps from the minute john williams' score started in the opening credits, a bugle call from across the universe.. (or something like that.. dammit i love that track)
when supes first changed i was like a porcupine! the airplane scene.. ah.
i loved it, its just that its...well.. it got too mushy.
what's with the kid with the...
nah. i'll wait for the dvd release b4 spilling out anything in public!
now gonna watch Pirates2.. ^_^ am a sucker for adventure movies!
the last SFIII i played was 3rd strike (the third "update" on SFIII) which was awesome! are there any newer updates? (or perhaps even a SFIV? GOSH!) i havent really checked or anything...
MarioKart! legendary game.. i keep hearing about it.. too bad it wont be released on the ps ;P!
check out "Street Fighter Anniversary Collection", it got SFIII: 3rd strike, AND the complete SFII collection! the quality is just the same, no sacrifices whatsoever, and both games are preseved intact!
i have it on ps2, is it released on other formats.. dunno.. i guess..
yes it's out on xbox too.
am not that fussed about SF to get the collection though, I might play the rom via mame sometime. or maybe not :p
yes Superman did get quite mushy at the very end, which I think could've been 10 minutes shorter. But that still doesn't stop me from loving the damn movie, if only for the awesome airplane scene :D
today I finished the New Super Mario Bros, great game
and for some reason the PSP has come back into SoB-fashion :p there are 4 games I wanna play on it: Exit 2, Lumines 2, Tekken Dark Resurrection (they say it's awesome), and Ultimate Ghosts and Goblins. Non of them are out yet though. The PSP has been fully cracked (needs a modchip) so I might install one of those and download these games rather than pay for the fuckers. we'll see.
do yourself a favour and buy a nintendo DS. Please. You'll play all the nintendo classics that you've been missing out on. And you can buy a programmable cartridge and not have to pay for any games :p
and finally, i might buy a gp2x. they look awesome
oh! and really finally, seeing that you like Street Fighter, Microsoft and Capcom are releasing SFII - Hyper Fighting for the x360 via xbox live, and it features online matches. I'd rather still play Dead or Alive 4, which reminds me, I haven't touched the 360 in ages........
