Blizzard Announces Starcraft 2

At their World Wide Invitational (WWI) in Korea.

Seeing that Korea has a huge fanbase for the original Starcraft, it's no wonder that they chose Seoul as their venue for WWI

I'm not a fan of RTS, but I know that this is huge news for anyone who plays them, and for PC gamers in general cos Starcraft was a milestone at it's time.

Go here for IGN's coverage of WWI, and for some screenshots of SC2.

UPDATE: Here's the youtube video of the announcement in WWI, listen to the mad fans roar!

And www.starcraft2.com is now online :)

I wanted the StarCraft MMO :(

That I would have definitely played.

And also, it was called Starcraft Ghost and was allegedly for GC/XBOX/PS2 release. It really is a "ghost" now *BOOM TISH!*

    I'll leave now.
